This product is made from Fumed Silica (CAS number 112945-52-5), also known as pyrogenic silica because it is produced in a flame, consists of microscopic droplets of amorphous silica fused into branched, chainlike, three-dimensional secondary particles which then agglomerate into tertiary particles. 

It makes Fumed Silica non-toxic, tasteless, non-polluting and high temperature resistance. At the same time it has a chemically inert and special thixotropic rubber character significantly improved the tensile strength , tear resistance and abrasion resistance by several times. It also has good UV reflection ability, stable and no decomposition by ultraviolet irradiation. 

Silicones are inert, synthetic compounds with a variety of forms and uses. Typically heat-resistant and rubber-like, they are used in sealants, adhesives, lubricants, medical applications, cooking utensils, and insulation. 

As a low-taint, non-toxic material, silicone can be used where contact with food is required.
